Message Touche, honestly sorry about that one. I will test fit the tube tomorrow. If it does fit like the one you posted I will also be contacting the manufacturer about this issue. I over looked the pickup tube, that is on me.
As for the deck, it is blocked. The reason for decking a block is to make sure everything is perfectly squared. You do not always need a heavy decking for everything to be squared up. The shop will straight edge and check any gaps on the edge to see how much needs to come off for it to be true...sometimes a lot, other times almost none to just get it flat and straight.
